THE ACADEMY
Academic heritage and a philosophy of educational evolution
Our history and heritage
Founded in the United Kingdom in 2008, British Business Academy Research and Teaching International has developed through successive stages of academic and international activity. DBA programme development began in 2010, followed by PhD research programmes from 2014. Cooperation with corporate universities abroad became an additional direction of development from 2018.
Since 2025, the Academy has placed renewed emphasis on scientific and sector-specific research, advanced academic programme development, the preparation of tutors and international licensing of its educational intellectual property. The institution’s present mission is principally concerned with research and teaching methodology, rather than a conventional student-admissions model.
Our vision — shaping the future of knowledge
The Academy believes that the future of science and education will be determined not merely by the accumulation of knowledge or the advancement of technology, but by humanity's ability to bring cultural values, technological progress and evolving patterns of social life into meaningful alignment.
Our ambition is to contribute to a new stage of educational evolution — one in which academic research does not simply respond to changes in the world, but helps scholars, researchers and educational methodologists understand, anticipate and responsibly shape those changes.
Technological capabilities may advance faster than the cultural institutions, social relationships and educational systems required to accommodate them. Bridging these differences demands interdisciplinary research, intellectual cooperation and educational methodologies capable of addressing uncertainty.
We see the evolution of education as an essential part of the evolution of society itself. Our purpose is not merely to prepare people for the world of tomorrow, but to advance the knowledge, intellectual responsibility and educational thinking through which a better future may be created.
