Academy Leadership

Two voices, one commitment: the pursuit of knowledge and the care of people who pursue it.

A welcome from the Principal

Professor Alexander Morrigan

Principal

Welcome to British Business Academy Research and Teaching International.

I believe that the true purpose of an academy is not simply to preserve knowledge, but to create the intellectual conditions in which new knowledge can emerge. Research must ask difficult questions, challenge established assumptions and ultimately make a meaningful contribution to society.

Our mission is to connect rigorous scientific inquiry with the development of advanced educational programmes, research methodologies and the next generation of academic tutors. We are particularly interested in the areas where disciplines converge: artificial intelligence and human judgement, healthcare innovation, corporate governance, international trade, sustainability, educational technologies and the relationship between science and culture.

I warmly invite universities, research institutes, scientific societies, philanthropic foundations and research-funding organisations to explore opportunities for collaboration with our Academy.

We welcome proposals for joint research projects, comparative international studies, interdisciplinary laboratories, scholarly publications and the development of new approaches to research-led teaching.

For us, a successful partnership is founded upon intellectual independence, mutual respect, transparent methodology and a shared commitment to outcomes of genuine scientific and educational value.

The future of research will not be built by isolated institutions. It will be created through thoughtful collaboration between people who are willing to explore what is not yet known.

I invite you to join us in that endeavour.

A personal welcome from the General Manager

Professor Pamela Collins

General Manager

It is my pleasure to welcome you to British Business Academy Research and Teaching International.

An academy should be a place where intellectual ambition is accompanied by confidence, encouragement and a genuine sense of belonging. Every person who approaches us brings a different professional history, different aspirations and a different way of learning.

We believe that these differences deserve attention.

Our approach places particular importance on personal communication, clarity of academic expectations, thoughtful organisation of learning and research activities, and respect for the individual. We want our academic environment to be intellectually demanding without becoming unnecessarily complicated or impersonal.

Whether you are a researcher exploring an international collaboration, a professional developing advanced expertise or a future tutor preparing to guide others, you should encounter courtesy, openness and a willingness to listen.

I also believe deeply in the traditions of leadership. A genuine leader is recognised not merely by achievement or position, but by integrity, responsibility, intellectual generosity and the ability to help other people realise their potential.

These are values we seek to uphold in the everyday life of the Academy.

Behind every serious academic programme are human beings: their questions, hopes, discoveries and ambitions. Our responsibility is to treat each of them with care.

I hope that your association with our Academy will be both intellectually rewarding and personally memorable. You are warmly welcome.
